A Green Weekend!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! On our way down to Charlotte for breakfast, the parade, and a festival with my pals Aunt Beth and Ms. Megan! Go State!

This kid could not have been happier doing ANYTHING ELSE...once he saw this car ride his mind was set that this was all he wanted to do. He rode it twice and woke up talking about it still the morning after. So so happy :-)

Having a snack with "Baby Ayla"....really just Ayla but Carson still refers to her like that. He had to wear a bib because she had been wearing one previously. While Mommy and Ms. Nicole baked some goodies in the kitchen, Carson played with his favorite gal pal! Ayla has even made Carson's prayer list several nights...she's pretty special :-)

Carson LOVES spending time on the porch! He loves to take a blanket out there and just lay on a chair by himself...even when the blanket is completely unnecessary in our unseasonably warm winter.

Daddy, Daddy, Daddy...Carson wants to do EVERYTHING Daddy does lately. Don't get me wrong, he can't get enough of me either...but he does not copy me. He copies everything Patrick does and says right now. This pic is of Carson getting Patrick the screwdriver so they could adjust his bike. Every morning Carson shaves with Patrick and if Patrick says it, you can bet Carson will say it the SAME WAY. It's a lot of pressure for a Dad :-) Especially while watching college basketball!

Today Carson helped Patrick put the baby car seats in both our cars. He talks a lot about having a baby sister and about how Mommy is having a baby, in addition to talking about the baby that is in his own belly as well!

Carson has been praying with us at dinner for a while and we just started nightly prayers, which I hope I can get on video one day because it's about the sweetest thing you'll ever see. He prays for EVERYONE in his family includinghis grandparents and Aunts, Lexi and Griffey, his teachers, his friends, and we can't forget Mr. Blake as his newest addition since skyping with Aunt Sarah and Blake recently. He sings his ABC's about 17 times a day which I finally caught on video as shown below, and I got a short clip of his St. Patrick's Day Festival fun as well :-)
