Wrapping Up November!

Birthday drive by for Harper!
Evie's preschool owner invited us to hang out on "the farm" when school was out.  It was perfect timing because Ollie was staying with us and he was dying to get out of the car and explore whenever we would drop Evie off at school.  Fun on the farm for everyone!!!

In November, we decided we wanted to help out the kids at Mott Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor where Nicky was being treated.  The kids made this box and put out some info on our neighborhood facebook page that we were collecting new books and toys for the kids there.  We had so much fun buying board books, drawing supplies, coloring books, games, and toys...and then to top it off, our family, neighbors, and friends started dropping off these items in our box on our front porch!  What we had purchased tripled with the help of others.  We even had some people drop off items without even telling us who they were.  It was so fun for the kids to keep checking the box every day to see what others had added to our donation.  It was fun for us, it was heartwarming, it made us feel so grateful to our neighbors, friends, and family, and it helped us to think about others just a little bit more.  Luckily, with Aunt Sarah's help, we were able to give our goodies directly to the 7th floor where Nicky stays, and we were able to add some gift cards for his wonderful nurses.  It was a good thing for the kids to be a part of.  We can always always always give more, and it was a good reminder to be grateful for what we have, especially our health and each other!

Getting pictures for our virtual Children's Christmas Program!

A visit with Grandma and Grandpa Brang!

November was filled with many night time flashlight walks!  It's fun to find the deer and raccoons out there hiding in the dark!

Sleepover fort!

November was full of night time walks, bonfires and smores, hiking, and playing outside with friends.  We also embraced having a 4th kid!  Ollie has been a joy to have with us.  The kids love up on him every chance they get and he just fits right in with our routine.  He's been so adaptable and has had so much fun with all of us...he also can't wait to be back home with his family.  Until then, we hope to keep him loved and smiling!  Our neighbors even known him by now and are always waving to him on our walks and even bringing him little gifts like Buzz toys and coloring books.  Carson, Laney, and Evie are all 3 still in school, and we are so so grateful for that!  We have so  much to be thankful for this November!
