Happy 2nd Birthday Carson! We cannot believe our little man is already 2. Ask him his age and he quickly responds "Two" and he holds up all five fingers :-) We are getting there! For Carson's birthday me and Grandpa took him down to the Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia, SC. Carson loved seeing and feeding all the animals, but ask him what he saw at the zoo and he will say "Choo choo...". That's right, his favorite part was the 2 minute train ride we took. What can I say the kid loves trains! Then, Aunt Beth and Kate came over to have dinner, cake, and icecream with the rest of us. He had a very nice birthday with family and friends...it was a big day for a big boy! 
Carson is pretty trusting of that thin piece of glass seperating him from the huge gorilla!

With the Chesapeake Bay boat ride with me and Uncle Jeff, his recent Lake Norman boat ride, his encounter with a bee bird, (a bee as big as a bird), and other experiences, Carson surpasses many 2-year olds in varied first-hand experiences. :)
