and spending the weekend with my Aunt Sarah! She came down to visit me for the weekend and I enjoyed all the extra attention :-)

This past weekend Aunt Sarah and Blake came down to visit Carson. Carson LOVES all the extra kisses and hugs to say the least. Carson is starting the potty training phase but the problem is he only wants to sit on the potty when he doesn't actually have to go. Every once in a while we get a hit but usually we sit and read together for up to 30 minutes before calling it quits with an empty bowl. He's definetley playing around with the idea but not quite ready to bite...although we are! At this point he puts us to sleep when he knows he has to go #2. He points to us both and says "shhh" then pretends to snore until we close our eyes...and then he goes in his diaper. So...needless to say, we think it's about time. On a lighter note Carson is starting to pedal his bike pedals (thanks Aunt Sarah) , instead of just holding his feet up while we push. He's getting big really fast that's for sure!
