Ok here's how it goes:  Uncle Jeff is my Godfather, I am Austin's Godmother, and now Austin is Laney's Godfather.  Whew.

This past weekend was Laney's Baptism!  We had a fun-filled weekend with all our visitors...Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Jeff, Aunt Roxie, Laura, Warren, Kate, Max, and the guests of honor Aunt Sarah and Cousin Austin!  Friday night Carson did some bungee swinging at the Truck Vender Festival at Rural Hill.  We got a video and were so surprised that he was brave enough to try it!  Friday night we all went out to the Rudder to have a drink on the lake and Saturday we cooked out...all in celebration of Laney's baptism on Sunday morning!  She wore the same dress that all the girls in my Mom's side of the family have worn, including me, my Mom, Amanda, and Laura...all who were here with Laney!  It was a special weekend and we are so thankful for all our friends and family who were able to help us celebrate.  I also got a video of  Carson doing the "Freeze Dance" during story time at our local library, which he has been enjoying weekly.  And last....we have BIG NEWS...Laney slept through the night from 9pm to 7:30am straight last night, giving me and Patrick our first full night of sleep in months!  Thank to Laney and to everyone who worked hard to wear her out over the weekend :-)
