Laney is 9 months old...9 months! How did this happen?!?!? In the past week she has learned to crawl, got her first tooth, started eating solid finger foods, and pulled up to standing on her own! It's way to much for this Mom! She just up and grew up or something. Whew...now that she is moving faster and faster by the day, she is working with one goal in mind...keep up with Carson! She wants whatever is in his hands and if he has nothing she will settle with pulling his hair or ear. He's been good about it so far and they have seemed to figure out tag with Laney chasing Carson around the family room. Laney laughs and laughs hysterically, it's the best!
Carson tagged along with me to my dentist appointment just to watch in preparation for his first dental cleaning later this year. He didn't even want to go with me at first, but after about 30 seconds sitting in the chair watching me, he was begging the hygienist for a turn! He watched closely, about 2 inches from my face as she used every tool, and he proceeded to tell her what tools he did NOT want her to use on him. She told him if there was time at the end of my appointment that she would give him a quick cleaning...he looked at my phone in my purse and said, "Let me look at what time it is. Yep you have time for me, it's my turn!". Lucky for him we did have time and he got his first cleaning and he can't wait to go back again! It was a dental success :-)
