 The gymnastics club had an open house so Carson and Laney got to hang, flip, jump in the gym!

 We put Laney in the car with no shoes...we were those people at the gymnastics open house with the kid walking around with no shoes on. 

 Laney crawls up in Carson's lap every chance she gets...she doesn't want the food on her tray but she'll eat whatever is in front of him!  And believe me, she will get it if she wants it. 

 Hmmmm...I wonder if they can see me if I wear this hat?

 Aunt Beth came to visit the night before Carson's birthday party!

Carson had the best birthday thanks to his friends and family.  We had a fun party and a nice birthday day too.  Patrick and I took the kids to the park Sunday night on his actual birthday and we noted when it was the exact time he was born...I just can't get over that little miracle of a baby is such an amazing little man now!  His big quote of his birthday was when Patrick was getting the coolers ready for the party Carson took a bottle of beer out.  When Patrick asked him to put it back Carson replied, "But Daddy I'm 4 now!"...oh boy :-)  He also asked if he was old enough to carry Laney up to bed on his own and put her down by himself...not quite but he wants to as soon as he's big enough!  He keeps asking how many days until his next birthday and he only wants me to show him using my fingers.  It's a little hard to imagine a whole year in fingers!  He's ready to get this year over and move on to five and for me this year could not go slow enough.  Both kids are growing up way too fast.  Happy birthday sweet, explorative, fixer upper, intelligent Carson!
