Happy Birthday Lexi

"The Ghost of Tortilla"...says Carson :-)
Fun at the Children's Museum with Grandma and Mommy!  Check out Laney's face!

Sporting the Redskins for everyone in Maryland!
Will it ever stop snowing?  Good thing we have a plow service AND our own little man shoveling pro.
Squeezing fresh orange juice...all Carson's idea and VERY exciting.

 They both love wearing earrings!
Snuggle Bugs!  Laney calls Carson, "Da-da".  Patrick is Daddy and Carson is Da-da.  She can actually say Car-car if you ask her to, but when you ask her what his name is she always resorts back to Da-da. Carson just loves that she has a name for him :-)

Laney had a virus last week for a few days and this is mainly all she did...I didn't mind some extra snuggle time.
Laney got to sit with Carson on the carpet at his preschool during their valentine sing-along.  She sang right along and followed the teachers directions...can she just start going with him to school?  Carson wrote his name on all 17 of his valentines over the course of several days.  He has all the letters down, if he would just let me show him how to hold his pencil right he'd be good to go!
Laney's new thing is to jump in bed with Carson during story time. Carson can't wait until she's big enough to have a sleepover in his bed with her.   Soon enough...
Happy 9th birthday Lexi!  Valentine's Day also marked the 9th birthday of Lexi so of course Carson planned a full party with a cake, presents, and even some doggy playtime for Lexi with our dog friend Jackson next door.  Carson is quite the party planner!  He hired Grandma to help him make and decorate Lexi's cake while I was at work :-)
Lexi looks like she is loving her party right?
Snow tubing at Pando Park! My Dad and I took Carson to Pando Park for 3 hours of snow tubing.  We all had a BLAST.  We must have rode that hill 20 times at least.  Carson screamed and laughed the entire time.  He rode up the tow rope by himself and everything.  One of the funniest moments was when the three of us were trying to go down all together.  My dad was holding onto Carson's rope and Carson was holding onto my rope.  As we started down the hill Carson looked back at me and smiled saying, "See ya Mommy!"...and threw my rope right out of his tube!  Of course they went down  much faster than me and left me in the dust. What a stinker.  It was the best day.
Taking a quick break for hot chocolate and popcorn!

Laney's new found dancing skills...
