This one is for Carson 12 years from now...he put on Laney's pink sweater and pink socks and danced around the house. Skinny little thing.
And this one is also for future Carson...look closely they both have earrings hanging from their ears :-)
Not morning kids today...
Aunt Beth and Uncle Nader came to stay over while Mommy and Daddy went to MSU for to see the play "Peter and the Star Catcher". Mom and Dad had a blast and so did the kids! Thanks again Aunt Beth and Uncle Nader! Uncle Nader was Laney's special buddy all weekend :-)
Carson was trying to convince Aunt Beth to stay even though Uncle Nader had to leave on Sunday :-)
Laney and Carson both love to read before bed. It's the best time...and really the only time they both sit still.

Grandma, Grandpa, Mommy, Carson, and Laney ventured to downtown Grand Rapids to check out the Rosa Parks Ice Rink. Carson really struggled to stay up at first but he found a "spotter" on his own (and one for Grandpa too) and was able to get going all on his own. He showed way more determination than I ever thought he'd have! Laney spent a lot of time watching everyone and obviously wondering why she did not have these special boots on her so that she could glide around too!
"Hey how can I join in on this?"
So happy once he had his spotter.
Morning cartoons..Laney saw Carson laying there all covered up so she grabbed her blankie and snuggled right in.
