Grandpa got this used bike a couple years ago and he finally got it fixed up now that Carson is tall enough to ride it! It was like Christmas times five for this second hand bike...because Grandpa gave it to him.
Laney is rocking her swim lessons! Like a pro! She is working on trusting her teacher enough to let go and do the back float though. Kinda makes sense for this strong, tough girl, having to work hard to just let go and relax.
Happy birthday Grandpa Brang!
I told Laney it was class picture day and she decided she just had to have a ponytail and a bow! I can't get her to do anything with her hair any other day but on picture day we had to give it a try as we were ready to walk out the door...of course!
Carson made a bird house after a long hike at his Cub Scout Meeting. Happy boy!
When Carson is home, Max is his best buddy, but when Carson is at school, Max is Laney's best buddy!
We've been seeing a lot of our little friend Bennett and we are excited we are going to be getting to see her a lot more often!
Carson wrapped up his soccer season last weekend and guess what?! He has requested to play yet again! We may be doing some indoor soccer this winter and definitely giving this another try in the spring. It's really neat to see how much the boys improved over the course of 8 weeks.
It rained on Halloween but at least we got in a couple dry Trunk or Treats earlier in the week! One was at our church and the other was in downtown Ada.
Grandma brought over some special candy corn cookies to make with the kids! Carson REALLY gets into baking.
I am in charge of planning class parties for Carson again this year...and again I recruited Grandma for help! She came over one day and helped me get everything together for a couple hours and then helped run the party!
The whole school does a parade, which we used to do when I was a kid too...so fun!
My Dad took Carson around our block. Then he wanted to stop to pass out treats again like he did last year. ( I swear he likes passing it out more than getting it) Of course he caught a second wind and Grandpa took him down the street for another round of candy. Soaking and cold the whole time but never complaining once! Our neighborhood is so fun on Halloween even the awful weather can't keep us down! Patrick keeps telling everyone how trick or treating wasn't that bad even with all the rain. Want to know why? Because he stood on our front porch and passed out Founder's beer to the parents while me and Grandpa were out in the rain with the kids!
At Grandma's house on Sunday Carson asked for an empty can. So Grandma got him one. A coffee can, a few pop cans, a few rubber bands, paper, markers, some beans, some tape, and fifteen minutes later wha la! A drum set! This kid and his creativity.
