I'm on the Team!

 Just doing a little dance before school :-)

 Still likes to be a little Momma for baby Ben....even though he's almost as big as she is!

 First snowfall of the season and Laney actually kept her gloves on and STAYED OUTSIDE!  Patrick and I watched the kids play from inside the warm house for over an hour.  AMAZING!  Carson actually played outside on and off for at least 5 hours on this particular day.  He was ready and waiting for the snow.

 Carson and Laney made this little guy all by themselves.  So cute.

 Of course had to have hot chocolate once they came in!

Laney and I have been helping watch our buddy Bennett while her family settles in to Grand Rapids.  We have been showing her around all our favorite places!  

 I didn't get many pics on Thanksgiving, but here we have Eric eating with Carson and Laney.  We had a house full of fun with Great Aunt Sarah and Great Uncle Mike, Katie, Tony, and Eric, Grandma and Grandpa Brang, Aunt Sarah and Uncle Blake, Auntie, and Grandma and Grandpa too!

 The day after Thanksgiving Dad, Uncle Blake, and Grandma and Grandpa Brang took the kids to the Children's Museum and Founders while me and Aunt Sarah did some MAJOR SHOPPING!  One of my favorite days of the year!

 The Saturday after Thanksgiving was decorating day!  We stayed in our pj's all day long and got EVERYTHING out.  We even got the lights up outside the house.  Whew!

 Laney and Carson have been busy crafting for Christmas!

Did this just happen?  Are they actually touching and not screaming at each other?  I had to permanently document this.   

 Grandpa has been reading to Carson's class on occasion.    I happened to be subbing in the class next door last week when he came and wow does Carson get excited to see him!  .

 Best Buds

 Patrick got to go to the Big Ten Championship game in Indianapolis so Laney wanted to support her Spartans back at home and look for him on TV :-)  She's been wearing these a lot lately (they used to be Carson's), and whenever she puts them on she says, "I'm on the team!".

 Tinsels, Trolley's, and Treats in Ada was a big hit this year!  We got to ride the trolley all over downtown and made several stops to get hot chocolate, cookies, and other fun treats.

 There was "dancing with Mrs. Claus" and Laney was ALL OVER THAT!  She actually almost pulled poor Mrs. Claus down on the ground.  Mrs. Claus didn't know what she was in for when she asked Laney to get out on the dance floor!

 The next day was our annual Ada Santa Parade.  I swear the kids end up with more candy during this 15 minute thing than they do at Halloween!  Well, almost as much.

 Laney mastered the waving when she caught on that they usually throw her candy when she does!

 Laney whispered to Carson asking him to tell Santa about their Elf on the Shelf back at home.

 The covered bridge in downtown Ada is all lit up every night and it is synced up to music too.  I took the kids by one night and they had a ball just dancing and running back and forth on the bridge.  Carson spent a lot of time trying to figure out how the music and lighting was working, as usual.
