It's FINALLY March!!! That means it's baby month and almost time to kiss on these adorable cheeks! Carson is just SURE it's a boy and that it looks just like him. The kids are counting down every day. Laney's countdown sounds like this, "Easter, Baby, then my Birthday!". All very exciting.
Last week Laney and I met Ms. Jen and our buddy Will at a new place in Grand Rapids called Catch Air. It was so much fun, I had no idea it was going to be so fun!
Carson had a snow day the day after we went to Catch Air so of course he wanted to go to experience all the fun for himself! So off we went and took Max with us! This place is a new favorite for sure!
After we came back from Catch Air we played outside with all the neighbor kids. Check out that huge snowman!
Laney still doesn't LOVE the "getting winter clothes on process"...but preschool taught her/makes her do it all herself. She just needs help with the zippers. She has a blast once she's out in the snow but I still think her true motivation is getting that hot chocolate once she goes back inside...
Carson, the other hand, stays outside in the snow for hours on end. He comes in soaking wet and freezing cold and it doesn't bother him a bit!
Sledding train! With pregnant Mom trying to pull them all! Big fail but it was fun trying. We lucked out big time moving into a neighborhood packed with the best kids!
Carson took Laney rollerblading last Sunday. (Oh yeah when it was in the 60's, just 3 days after the snow day, and 2 days later another 10 inches of snow and a snow day!) Patrick was going to take Laney around the block but Carson jumped in and asked him to stay back so that he could take her by himself. Patrick came running in yelling for me to come and look at this. We just starred from the garage while they went down the street...it was so sweet...shocking...but so so sweet. He helped her up whenever she fell and held her hand the whole time.
He has to make sure Lexi is comfy cozy too!
