Summer Heat Can't Be Beat!

Laney's last day of preschool was Family Fun Day!  We had a picnic lunch and got to play with all her buddies!  Carson is out of school as well now...bring on the Summer FUN!
The preschool made their own "car wash" for their toy cars...and Laney decided she needed a wash as well!

Laney's best buddy this year was Ian.  She has had a few play dates with her friend Reese as well, but Ian gets talked about A LOT!  She had a great year with Ms. Sullivan and Ms. McGrath!

Crazy Hair!

We are outside trying to beat the heat every day!

Carson got a soccer trophy after his last game.  He was beyond excited to get his first trophy!
We met Aunt Beth, Uncle Nader, Eliana, and Adeline at Grandma and Grandpa's house last weekend!  Eliana is really getting into playing with the kids...and Carson and Laney just can't get enough of her!

Cousin fun is just the best!  I didn't get any pics of little Adeline but Carson and Laney were so happy to meet their adorable new cousin.

Our little bugaboo loves looking at Carson and Laney.  She smiles and coo's at them all the time!  My Mom and Patrick both caught Evie laughing about a week ago.  Then finally just today, I got a good laugh out of her too!  It made my whole week!
We have some serious climbers!   Back at gymnastics again!

We took our buddy Max with us to our church's summer picnic.  Grandma and Grandpa met us there too!

Laney asked the face painter to make her look like a princess...so I guess that's a crown on her head.

First time playing BINGO!  They all won :-)

Laney got some unexpected mail from her friend Ian!  Ian was in her preschool class this year.  He made her a bracelet and everything! Laney was over the moon about getting a package from her buddy in the mail!  She painted a picture and got some mail into the mailbox for him right away that same that.  And it even inspired Carson to write to his buddy Luke in Rochester to see if he would write back and be his pen pal for the summer.
Well they slept together...until 3am when Laney tried to wake Carson up and he got mad at her.  So we put her back in her own bed, only to find her sleeping with Carson again in the morning.  At some point he went in her room and apologized.  Neither one of them really like sharing a bed, but they keep trying.

Carson was loving helping Grandpa grill up some steaks for our Father's Day Dinner.  He's sitting there reading the paper, as most 6 year old boys would do.
Founders Tatoos!
Once the steaks were done they hit up Auntie to help them make some smores!
