Adventures in Michigan and Michigan Adventure!

 

Michigan Adventure, YES!  Laney grew two inches from last year so she got to ride a couple extra roller coasters this year.  Woo hoo, for her...for Mom...I need motrin and Dramamine my body can't even take these things anymore! Patrick was feeling the same way, but I know it's not that we are getting old or anything...really, it's not. 

 That's Grandpa and Carson in on the log ride over there.

 

  Grandpa, Patrick, and I watched and cheered while the kids rode this one over and over.  Again, not because we are old or anything.  We totally could have ridden that 7 times like they did.

  Back at the beach!  Back on their chairs!  This time we hit up Holland State Park with some of our favs, the Bonofiglio's!

 

Chet and Ave were so much fun to play with.  We love those boys!

 After the beach we all headed over to Joe's families place, The Holland Peanut Shop!  It's been around for like 90 years and let me just say...It.   Is.  Amazing.  Every kind of candy you can remember from childhood to the newest stuff, and their chocolate is to die for.  You can imagine Laney's excitement trying to choose.  It's her new FAVORITE PLACE ON EARTH.

 What's more fun than watching tv in Grandma and Grandpa's room?

 Back in Grandma's bed again!

 Carson is really into shooting hoops with Patrick lately.

 Laney is starting kindergarten soon ahhhhh!!!  She just finished up her 2 week kindergarten camp.

 Grandma and Grandpa were babysitting Maeve so they brought her by for a play date with her cousins!  Guess who was SUPER jealous of Maeve getting some attention from HER Grandma...Evie is not the best sharer right now my oh my.

 This sweet pea is LOVING Barney!  When she got up from her nap she pointed to the tv for me to turn him on, then, after she clapped through the beginning song, she grabbed her blankie and her Barney and sat happily on her very own little pink couch.  I mean is there anything cuter, really?!  It only lasts about 5 minutes but I'm not ashamed to say I'm really excited that she wants to watch a little television!

 We had a fun filled day at Meijer Gardens with Grandma, Grandpa, and Nana!
