Carson is 8 and More Birthday's!

Carson got to have a "friend" birthday party this year!  He had his friends Grayson, Elliott, Carson G., Ryan, Alli, Kendall, Kate, and of course Laney.  We went to AirTime and had a bouncing, swinging, climbing good time!

 The morning of Carson's birthday we served him breakfast in bed, as always!  Evie was pretty excited about this tradition, she was all about cinnamon rolls in Carson's bed.

 

 Later in the afternoon Patrick took Carson to Grand Rapids Tree Top!  They went on a 3 hour long high ropes course that was pretty intense and apparently "awesome".  Patrick was sore for days :-)  And the fun didn't stop there...family party time!  Grandma, Grandpa, Nana, Auntie, Uncle Adam, and Maeve all came for dinner, cake, and ice cream!  You can never say this boy is without love...our friends and family made his birthday so special and fun!

 Happy birthday Carson!  How in the world you are 8 years old already is just baffling to me.  It seems so long ago that you were born and yet it feels like it was just yesterday.  It's a day I'll never forget, an indescribable feeling that I felt for the first time, and a moment that I love to go over and over in my mind on your birthday every year.  You are so big all of a sudden, and time just doesn't seem to want to slow down even a little bit.  Gosh, we love you buddy.

 The day after the big day, the birthday celebration continued!  We got to spend the day with Aunt Beth, Uncle Nader, Eliana, and Addie!  We had so much fun catching up and getting to play all day!

 Carson and Eliana ate outside on the deck just the two of them...too much.

 We also celebrated Nana's birthday last week!  We had lunch at her place on Monday and then special birthday treats with her on Tuesday!

 Pie in the Face is the kids new favorite craze.  It's a game with one goal, get yourself hit in the face with whipped cream.  I know...technical.

 Everson had to get some too!
