Evie is SUPER into smelling hers, yours, anyone and anything's stinky feet...even the scare crow in Nanna's hallway.
Grandma and Grandpa took the kids to see the play "Beauty and the Beast"! They loved it! They got to meet the characters afterwards and they each brought home a special rose.
Playing checkers with Grandpa at Cabelos.
Laney tried on Jeff Smokers (former MSU quaterback) old helmet. Good fit!
Everson and I started putting the Children's Museum into our weekly line up. Brings back so many memories with Carson and Laney.
Evie tries on any shoes that she can find.
She's been hesitant but she is finally ready to ride Sandy after we grocery shop.
We had a special visit from Aunt Roxie and Uncle Jeff a couple weeks ago! They came over for the MSU vs OSU football game and Carson made signs out of poker chips...we lost but we had a great time!
Uncle Jeff fixed a valve in our basement and gave Carson the left over copper to sell to the scrap yard. That kid was walking on air when he came home with $4.75!
And Aunt Roxie surprised the kids with gigantic cupcakes! Win win for all of them!
Whenever Laney loves her outifit or accessories she has me snap a pic so I can send it to her teacher. I don't really send it but Laney just wants to think she can show Mrs. Vinton EVERYTHING!
Coming back from the cold bus stop in our pj's and Laney's sweatshirt...oh what a look.
Another one for Mrs. Vinton!
Laney started basketball last week. She's got the ball on the right side of the photo. She's never played before and although we have a hoop now, I don't think she's shot the ball more than 5 times in her life. She asked us to sign her up though so we thought we'd give it a shot. OMG...this girl. She is so athletic. There's a video of her down below worth watching. Her defense was amazing. We are just amazed at how naturally it all just came to her. She got hit hard in the face with the ball and just kept right on playing. She's tough and strong under those girly princess poofy dresses! We are excited for this basketball season and to see if it's something she enjoys.
Evie is so lucky to have Addie on Patrick's side and Maeve on my side, both the same age as her...she is going to have the best time growing up with them!
Carson wanted a photo shoot with his Dad before church last week.
Can you even handle this hat that I bought from a lady who makes them at my Grandma's place?!
Carson dressed Everson up as his very own pirate and she totally played the part! She should wear a bandanna every day.
Thanksgiving! My fav! This year we were so happy to have Grandma, Grandpa, Nanna, Jill, Dennis, Grandma Brang, Grandpa Brang, Amanda, Joe, Chet, Ave, Rachel, Aunt Sarah, Uncle Blake, Nicholas, and Oliver!
Evie just had to be right there with her baby cousins.
They sure are easy to look at :-)
The morning after, Aunt Sarah, Rachel, and I headed out to do some Black Friday shopping while Uncle Blake, Patrick, and Evie took care of the twins! From what I heard Evie was a big help. Carson and Laney got to sleepover at Grandma and Grandpa's which was super fun for them and made the morning much easier for Patrick at our house.
Evie is like a giant in this thing...but she was insistent that she get a turn too.
We just didn't want to say good-bye!
As soon as all our company left, Carson had the lights out and was ready to get them up! No rest here! And to finish up our Thanksgiving break we spent the day at Grandma and Grandpa Brang's house and got to visit with Great Grandma and Grandpa Schultz and Aunt Dawn and Uncle Tom.
Laney took a picture of "the girls" so Carson had this idea to get a picture of "the boys".
All the cousins!
Wrestling fun :-)
