Evie's 2nd Birthday! We started out with balloons and a pancake breakfast and then met up with Grandma, Grandpa, and Nana at Meijer Gardens to see the butterflies! We did the same thing on Laney's 2nd birthday :-)
Everson LOVED chasing all the butterflies around.
Snack time with Grandpa.
Not as happy and cooperative on the way out as we were on the way in as you can tell.
Everson whined through us singing her "Happy Birthday" ...she just wanted that cake why does she have to wait?!
New bike helmet for the summer!
Last birthday pic...and just like that she is 2!
Beep beep! Gosh Evie and I have the MOST fun. I love staying home with her I can't even lie. It's so much fun. We have something different we go to every day whether it's story time at the library with Ms. Holly (my personal fav), a trip to the Children's Museum, grocery shopping (my least personal fav), or gymnastics. We also stop in to visit Nana most every day. Evie loves to go in and sneak up on her gently saying, "Boo!". She is used to getting a special treat from Nana's side table whether it's grapes or lately a chocolate chip cookie. We chat with Nana and watch a little bit of The Price is Right. If we time it up right, and most days we do, we walk out with her on her way to lunch. Evie gets to lock the door with Nana's keys and then she's right up on her lap for a fun ride down the hall. Her favorite thing of all is to beep Nana's horn. Then it's a kiss good bye until the next day. After that it's lunch and nap time before the big kids get home. I told you, so fun!The weekend after Evie's birthday we had a big family party to celebrate both Evie and Laney's birthdays. Always so much fun with our family is here!
Dance Party!
These cuties had to have an Easter egg hunt in the basement because apparently Michigan thinks springtime weather includes rain, snow, and freezing cold temps.
Evie found ONE egg, opened it up immediately, and plopped herself on the couch to enjoy her treat. She looked at the other kids gathering up eggs like they were crazy not to eat what was inside. Too funny.
