Ali's birthday!
Hmmmm...
Nap time.
Church family picnic fun!
Carson and Laney both had a full week of soccer camp this summer and they both rocked it!
I showed up just in time to see Laney score the only goal scored in her 3 on 3 match. Final score,1-0!
Who knew Costco with Grandma could be so fun?!
The morning of Carson's 9th birthday, you know how it goes....breakfast in bed! A tradition started by Carson himself :-) He requested that Grandpa get up early and come up with us to start the festivities. Cinnamon rolls and fruit in bed with special guest, Grandpa! Oh, and he wanted us to sing "Happy Birthday" with our best "Oprah" voices, hence the silly voices in the video.
Under Carson's breakfast tray he found his first clue that took him on a scavenger hunt to his present, a Nintendo Switch!
Family party time! Carson was really excited for his family to all come over. He had goal keeper camp in the morning and then he knew the party would be underway as soon as he got home!
Carson couldn't wait to show Uncle Adam his new Nintendo Switch. Uncle Adam didn't like it at all.
It just so happens that Laney's BFF Kate shares a birthday with Carson. So Laney snuck away to party with Kate for a couple hours before heading back to more fun with family! It was a fun day for all!
That wasn't the end of it though, the next night Carson had 3 of his best buds over for a sleepover! This Mom is CRAAAAAZZZZZY! Actually, Patrick dropped Everson off with my parents and he took Laney with him to Dave and Buster's while I ran the PARTAY back home and that helped a lot. It was a good group of kids and everyone had fun. There was pizza, a pinata, presents, cake, nerf gun wars, video games, movies, popcorn, and late night root beer floats. They were up until midnight and still all popped up at 6am for pancakes and bacon! We went through so much food I could barely keep up.
Everson loves one on one time with her siblings. She's so spoiled.
Carson got a new fishing pole for his birthday and got it all tangled up on the first run out. No worries, we carted it off to Maryland for cousin Austin to fix up for us.
Martha and Barry joined us to see Uncle Mike's band play at Meijer Gardens! It was a PACKED HOUSE and wow were they amazing! Martha and Patrick took the kids up to the very front to dance. The next day they stayed with the kids and took them to the pool while I flew to Maryland for my Grandma's Memorial Service.
