November Cold Can't Keep Us Down!

It's been cold, it's been wet, it's been snowy (ew) but the cold hasn't kept us down...November has been jam packed with fun, family, and friends!
Baking cookies with Maeve!  I guess the mixer was too loud?

Polar Bear Ice Dance at Laney's School.  Laney was so sweet to take Evie with her and show her around the dance floor.

A couple weekends ago, I surprised Laney and her bff Kate with tickets to see Kids Bop Live in Grand Rapids.  We had a fun dinner and dessert date at the Downtown Market and then we danced the night away!

We had a jam packed day of fun in Midland...first up with a benefit for our little man Nicky!

After the benefit was over we headed to Aunt Beth and Uncle Nader's house for Eliana's birthday party!  Happy 5th birthday Eliana!

Eliana gave the kids slime in their goody bags and I think the kids played with it every morning for 2 weeks straight.  Here's Laney's jack-o-lantern.

Evie still loves gymnastics.  Check out her landing in the video!

Found a life size mini at Costco...luckily she got sick of her by the time we got to the check out line so we could put her back on the shelf.
Police dog visit at Evie's school!
Carson won tickets to a special Lions Ford Field tour from his school fundraiser.  He was so excited to take his Dad to Ford Field and even more excited to pick up Grandpa Brang along the way!  Patrick said they had the BEST time exploring the field and spending the day together.

Our pumpkins have been disappearing from our front porch one by one.  Then we figured out where they were going...

Team color day at preschool!  Go green!

Evie and I have been taking Charlotte for walks "off leash" down the Grand River path.  Evie just laughs and laughs watching Charlotte run free.

The 2nd generation of banchies had so much fun together last weekend!  The Morin's and the Bonofiglio's both came for a sleepover and we all had the best time!  I love how Carson and Luke as well as Ellie and Laney are the best of friends even from so far away.  They just pick up right where they left off every time they see each other.
Chet and Ave jumped right in to the fun too!  These kids are the cutest!
It was a fun, late night for all.  Even Evie slept in her sleeping bag with the big kids.
The next morning Ellie and Courtney went with us to Laney's basketball game.
Carson and Luke watched the Michigan vs. MSU football game together.  Michigan came away with a big win and these boys were great sports with each other.
Look at that crew!  I'd say the kids had ALMOST as much fun as the Mom's and Dad's.   We can't wait to do it again!

This puppy and this girl.  Charlotte can be a handful and her jumping is out of control right now, but she is seriously THE sweetest.  The kids just love her to pieces. She is sleeping in Carson's bed with him currently.  Dog's are the best.

Carson and Laney both learned a lot about Veteran's Day in school this year.  Carson's principal invited students to create a slide about a veteran that they know, and she even invited them to bring them to school for a special assembly and lunch.  Carson got busy making a slide about his Grandpa right away and Grandma and Grandpa were happy to go to school with Carson on Veteran's Day!  Carson was so happy when he saw them, he gave them big hugs and took them right away to show them to his classroom.
Old photo of Grandpa in action.
This is the slide Carson made that was in the school wide Veteran's Day slide show.
