Joyful December Days!

 Patrick, Laney, Carson, and Grandpa braved the cold and went to the last MSU football of the season.  They beat Maryland whoop whoop!  Go Green!

 Our neighbors Tammy and Jeff had their baby in November...little Reagan is so adorable!  Evie has been hanging out with her older sister Nicolette lately.  What a sweet family.

 Evie skipped her nap one day.  That night after dinner around 6 she went upstairs to watch TV and a surprising amount of time went by without hearing from her (10 minutes is long).  We finally went upstairs to check and she was passed out cold.  It took a lot to wake her!

 Grandma and Grandpa took Laney to see the musical "The Little Mermaid".  Laney loves getting to  meet all the characters after the show.

 Grandma and Grandpa Brag came to visit!  Evie got right down to the serious game of Candyland.  After Grandma won twice she told her that she didn't need to play anymore and that she was just going to play with her Dad and Grandpa.  Ha, what can I say, the girl likes to win!  She'll grit her teeth and say "Good game" though when she does lose.

 We all went to the Downtown Market for dinner, shopping, and a yummy dessert!  Grandpa even bought Carson a WHOLE pie to bring home.

Evie got to go to her first movie!  Frozen 2 of course.  Carson, Laney, Grandma, Grandpa, Maeve, and I went too.  Everson made it through the movie thanks to my purse full of candy, but her attention span just isn't ready for a full movie.  When Anna was wondering into a cave in the movie,  Evie loudly and matter of factly announced, "She goona die".  Grandma and I almost peed our pants.  She'll tell you she loved the movie and wants to go back...but I think we'll wait a bit before trying that again. 

 It got up to about 40 degrees one day so I took the kids to the park.  I was walking laps while I watched them play and as I came around the corner there stood Evie in the sandbox.  Look close, she's got bare feet.  Apparently even in all her winter gear she thought it was appropriate to take off her boots and socks!  Below are two videos of Evie rocking it out on the microphone.

We've been spending some time with our buddy Nicolette since she got her new baby sister.  Fun for Evie and a little break for her Mommy!

 Charlotte follows me everywhere.  I was getting the laundry out of the dryer one night and turned around and almost stepped on her.  She's always right there.

 Evie caught a cold, no big deal, but Laney spoiled her rotten and Evie took it ALL in.

 Snow!!!  If it's going to be cold, it might as well snow.  At least then the kids want to be outside playing!

 Carson must have built 3 huge forts in two days with different neighborhood friends.  He stayed outside over 7 hours on Sunday, coming inside for one quick food break and heading right back outside with dry gloves.

 Tinsels and Trolleys in downtown Ada!  Everson was SO excited to get to meet the Grinch!

 The next morning we headed to the annual Santa parade and then off to the Chili and Beer Festival!  It was such a fun day.

Laney got to attend a Secret Gift party with all her best girlfriends!  What a fun group!

 One night we took Carson to his friends house for dinner and there were no younger kids for Laney and Evie to play with at this house and we were pretty certain video games was going to be the main event with Carson and his friend, so we dropped the girls off at Aunties house!  Fun for all!

Laney invited my Mom to come with us to our church for an Angels of Advent program.  She was mostly going for the chocolate fountain but we all had a nice time making lots of Christmas crafts together.

Maeve invited us to her school Christmas Concert and we were so happy to go watch her sing!  She's one joyful singer!

 Laney just finished up her first Hip Hop dance class.  She LOVED it.  There's a video clip from her last class below.  She's planning on taking it again in the Spring so she can be in the big recital.
