Back to school we go! Yes, that's right, school is back in person and we are oh so excited about it! We had a virtual choice or hybrid for the first few weeks. We chose school and we had no reservations about it. School was the best thing for us, for these kids, for our mental and emotional health. For the people who chose virtual, I know they made the right choice for their family too. There was no right choice or wrong choice as in one size fits all. This is such a weird time. We do take this all seriously, we know that Covid is real and we are following all the rules and regulations and staying cautious, and also trying to live our lives fully. Our district is keeping a close eye on our community and any outbreaks that may occur, we are starting off hybrid with just half the class meeting every other day and building up to 5 days a week if it continues to work out. We do put thought into every move we make, and that being said, school is so wonderful. It's all good, until it's not. We are grateful for each and every day knowing that school could go back to virtual any minute, that one of us could have to be quarantined for two weeks, any day. We are truly thankful for every single day! And we are oh so thankful for our teachers and school staff.
We found a new park that we are in love with! Fallsburg Park in Lowell has a creek that the kids can play in and catch frogs and fish. You can see to the bottom and it's maybe a foot deep. It leads right into the Flat River which is so shallow that Carson and Laney can walk right across it. We had a great family picnic there!
New school outfit! Evie is back to preschool! She's going 3 days a week at the farm school and is loving being back.

Evie has so many buddies on our block and they are seriously the cutest. Here she's all dressed up with Hazel and Nicolette.
We've been busy working on our house! We took down all the blinds and curtains and painted the window sills. That sounds like a simple job but it was big for me! My Dad came over to help out too. Carson was OBSESSED with the ladder. Hopefully in a few months, it will look a lot different here.

We got to celebrate Nicky and Ollie's 3rd birthday at our house this year! Our kids were so excited to host a party for the boys. They got up early and drew dinosaur paw prints all over the driveway and sidewalk leading up to the boys presents. We had banners and 100 balloons and dinosaurs all over the place. It's always the best time with these cuties!

Football is back! The Littles enjoyed some chili while the big people watched football in the garage. Having that t.v. outside is really paying off!
