That's a Wrap, 2021

Laney has been loving basketball this season.  She's super aggressive and loves shooting.

Evie practicing basketball with her big buddy Alivia.

Christmas cookie baking and decorating!

Swimming in the snow?!  Yes, please!  Another amazing ski trip in the books, this time to Boyne Mountain!  Swimming outside in the winter cold and snow has to be the funnest thing ever for my kids.
Stiggs Brewery, great find!

All three kids got a private lesson and loved it.  They were ready to tackle all the hills by the time they were finished.  Carson and Laney are way more advanced than Patrick and I, and Evie is already keeping up with us.

While the kids had their lesson, Uncle Adam, Patrick and I got to enjoy a beverage at the Eagle's Nest at the tipity top of the hill!
Igloos are the most fun.

These two don't like each other at all.

We had so much fun at Avalanche Bay Water Park.

Yep, that's Patrick's face on that bottle!  His prized possession now.  Patrick has big news, he's moving on from Founders and trying out something new at Kent Quality Foods.  It is bitter sweet for him, he loves Founders with everything he has, but he also knows it was the right time to go when an amazing opportunity arose.  The kids cried when they found out, but they are pretty pumped that their Dad will be selling hot dogs.  Evie goes around singing, "The Hot Dog Man is coming to town, serving hot dogs all around!".
For our church Children's Christmas Program, Laney was Mary and Evie sang her heart out as a pig at the manger.

Check out that Mary, pregnant as can be!

Christmas Eve was back to "normal" for us this year!  Presents, lunch at Founders, church, then Grandma and Grandpa's house for dinner! Best. Tradition.  Ever.

My favorite moment of the whole Christmas season.

Our weather has been so weird!  It has been warm enough to play basketball so Patrick has the kids playing P-I-G every chance they get!

Christmas celebration at Grandma and Grandpa Brang's.  So much to celebrate!

After Christmas we took the kids to a double header at Michigan State.  First up, the MSU Men's basketball game at 3.  From the top of that stadium the kids had the best time.  Never got out of our seats even.  Evie kept track of every score.  We all loved it.  From there we met our friends the Gregor's at Pizza House for dinner.  Then we went straight over to Munn Arena for the MSU men's hockey game at 7.  Stayed for that whole game too.  We did not have high expectations for making it through this whole day, but we did it, had a blast, and not one single kid got tired or complained.

Banchie night! Nothing like getting silly with your very Best Friends.  There's just no one else in the world like these ladies.
Happy New Year!  And that's a wrap on 2021.  It was hard, and it was also awesome.  We certainly can't complain.  I feel so full of joy and am so happy to have my family all here together and healthy.  Not too much else really even matters, does it?
