Disney World 2022

 Disney World 2022!  We planned this trip last summer thinking Covid would be all clear by now.  Well, it wasn't, but we were so ready to bust out of this cold winter snow for some fun in the sun!  We were on the same flight as Auntie, Uncle Adam, Maeve, Maren, and Peri, and we met Grandma and Grandpa in Orlando.  Whoo Hoo!!

Day 1:  Magic Kindgom:  Tomorrowland Speedway, Meeting Cinderella and Princess Elena, Mad Tea Party, Regal Carrousel, Space Mountain, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Under the Sea with Little Mermaid, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, Haunted Mansion ,Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Pirate's of the Caribbean, Chef Mickey

Evie rode Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, her first ever roller coaster!  I really wasn't sure about it but I was wrong, she LOVED it.  Wanted to get right back on it.  

Going back to Disney with big kids was a new adventure!  We went back to our awesome house (that included its own heated pool and hot tub and game room), swam, ate, and headed back out to Magic Kindgom for fireworks, a couple more rides, and then a late night dinner at Chef Mickey! 

We dragged ourselves back home around 11pm...it's a was a long, very FULL, first day.  It was just so much fun.  

Day 2:  Epcot : Soarin, Garden Grill for lunch, Finding Nemo, Spaceship Earth, drinks and snacks Around the World, Frozen on Broadway show (caught the end of it)

Day 3:  Hollywood Studios:  Star Wars Rise of the Resistance, Mickey &  Minnie's Runaway Railway, Toy Story Mania, Rock n Roller Coaster, Frozen Sing Along, Slinky Dog Dash, Smugglers Run and the Cantina for Patrick and Uncle Adam

Evie made it through an over 2 hour way for the Star Wars Rise of Resistance ride.  Did she think it was worth it?  No.  But she is a trooper for sure.  

We all loved Toy Story Land.  The kids just kept talking about how much their cousins Nicky and Ollie will love it there.  

Day 4:  Universal Studios for Carson, Laney, Patrick, Uncle Adam, and Grandpa, DAY OF FUN for the rest of us! 

Harry Potter World!  Butter-beer for the win!

Grandpa got SOAKED on a water ride...and the kids will laugh and tell you about FOREVER.

Meanwhile back at the house we enjoyed a pool day!  It was so relaxing and fun.  I love a little down time.  

Day 5:  Hollywood Studios for the 2nd day:  Met Minnie on the Red Carpet, Maeve, Evie, Laney, and Carson all got to make their very own Star Wars Droids, Beauty and the Beast, Alien Swirling Saucers, Slinky Dog Dash, Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Disney Junior Play and Dance, Frozen Sing Along (a 2nd time!), Meeting Disney Junior Pals (Doc McStuffins, Fancy Nancy, Pluto), and Uncle Adam and Carson got to build their own LIGHT SABERS!

Taking beer into the Beauty and the Beast show is CLUTCH.  Day 5 running on fumes...we all needed it.  

Day 6:  Magic Kingdom AND hopping over to Epcot:  Carousel, Mad Cup Tea Party, Seven Dwarfs Mine Ride, It's a Small World, Frozen Ever After, Remy's Ratatouille Adenture

Disney World is so magical.  It's also so exausting.  We were going 100 miles an hour on minimal sleep.  And yet, I look back at these pics and I can't hep but want to go back!  With very few break downs from the kids (shocking), I will only remember all the smiles, laughter, and joy.  Getting to go with Auntie, Uncle Adam, Grandma, Grandpa, Maeve, Maren, and Peri is the ultimate cherry on top.  I'm so thankful we are all healthy and that we could go on this trip together.
