Soccer practice in the POURING rain...gotta get that selfie to show the parents they are surviving!
Outdoor hiking field trip to Goodwillie Environmental School.
Camp Henry day trip for Laney. She was IN HER ELEMENT at her favorite place.
Our annual Gull Meadows Trip is always one of our funnest traditions! Grandpa got to shoot a pumpkin from the big dog!
How many donuts can one Mom eat? You just don't even want to know.
Happy 7th birthday to you, Maeve!
Cold soccer game against her school bestie, Elena! Grandma and Grandpa Brang were at this game to cheer her on too. Of course she had to score for them :-)
Our annual party....yep, it snowed. You just never know what weather you are going to get on Halloween. Didn't stop us though! We had a fire going and the heaters running.
Carson was back and forth but ultimately decided to get out. I was so glad. Once he said he'd dress up and go out, his friends quickly joined in! Gotta trick or treat as long as you can, man!
The boys pooled their candy together the entire night. Yep, they pulled that wagon to every single house in the neighborhood. They had the best time.
Central High School Pom Dance Clinic was so fun! Evie LOVED LOVED LOVED it. Laney had so much fun but decided dance team is not for her. I think it's the first thing she's ever not really enjoyed. Evie got to hold some unique bugs at the Van Andel Center for her friends birthday party. While she was there, I took Laney to get her one ear re-pierced. Her initial piercing dragged down too far so we had to go to an expert and make a new plan! She's good as new and waiting for that piercing to heal so she can go for a second hole!
Taylor Swift birthday party for Laney's friend Alexis. They rented out a movie theater for a private showing...wow, just wow.
Evie and her besties again!
Celebrating Eliana's birthday at Grandma and Grandpa Brang's house! Soccer is over, but don't worry, basketball starting the very next day AND we had indoor and futsol to look forward to. Did someone say we were going to have more time when soccer season ended? Laney played her heart out with a new team and really came through as a leader! She works hard at basketball, love seeing her encourage her teammates and play with confidence.
Laney's Girl Scout Troop volunteered at Kid's Food Basket.
B-ballers!
Evie has been LOVING basketball and shooting those baskets! She got to play against her good friend Renley, which meant I got to sit with my bestie and cheer them both on with Ms. Kate!
Evie's Thanksgiving lunch table. So fun!
All the second graders did research on a topic of their choice, wrote an informational piece, and created a display of fun facts and photos of their topic! They set up in the gym and taught groups of kids in kindergarten through 4th grade ALL DAY LONG. Towards the end of the day families were invited in to learn from their second graders as well. I was SOOOOO impressed!
We had both sets of Grandparents, Aunt Sarah, Uncle Blake, Nicky and Ollie, and the Bonofiglio's as well! It was the nicest day.
Bailey giving Nya some extra love. Love our sweet pups, most of the time.
