We came back from Arizona just in time to celebrate Laney's 13th birthday. She loves going to Fujiyama, the Asian Grill. Her cousins, not so much :-)
We went to Granda and Grandpa Brang's house to celebrate all the April birthday's! Aunt Sarah, Laney, Addie, and Evie's late March bday too.

Laney tried track for the first time this year and really loved it. She is FAST...and quite the long jumper we found out!
April starts Carson's rowing season, rowing Every. Single. Weekend. And we are here for it!

Evie's 3rd grade class took a trip to Meijer Gardens.
Carson had the opportunity to be the coxwain for the girls novice 8 boat and he jumped at it! Their coxwain was still on the water in another boat and the girls were going to have to forfeit their race. Carson heard what was happening and ran to his coach asking if he could jump in and cox. She said yes and he literally had to sprint to get in the boat. The girls placed and got a medal!!! He says he doesn't even remember what he was yelling to them but he was definitely in his element yelling and driving them all the way! He loved it...and he got quite the ovation from his team afterwards when the girls picked him up as they always do to their coxwain's.
Carson had only 1 regatta in Grand Rapids so we had the whole fam out to cheer him on. Gosh I love watching the kids out there rowing. It has become my absolute favorite.
