Crom, Canada, and Bye-Bye to Soccer

Carson would come over to Thornapple Elementary after the high school got out every day if he could.  He made his way over several times this year to spend the last hour of the day with Sunni!  Evie enjoyed getting to visit with Sunni every morning.  He really was her little buddy.

Carson and his best friend Cole worked hard on their double this year.  They were really competitive even at States, just missing the cut for Nationals by one place.

Ice cream after soccer practice makes all that hard work worth it!

Coffee date with the newest addition to our friend group, baby Grant!
Gosh I just love Laney's girlfriends.  They are the most supportive sweetest little group and they are involved in EVERYTHING!

Took the girls and Ellie to see Kane Brown!  It was their first concert and it did not disappoint!

Peri doing Evie's hair makes my heart so full.
Mother's Day was consumed with soccer games and I was a little sad to miss church and some down time but the Mom's in my circle are THE BEST and we celebrated ourselves right there on the sidelines cheering on our babies.  Love my people!

Laney carefully considered next year and decided to take a break from soccer.  She did not try out for next year's team.  It makes me sad to see that chapter end for her, knowing full well she could open it back up any time she wants.  She is so tough and talented, and her teammates rely on her for her positive, supportive role on the team.  She will be missed, and we will miss watching her stop those goals,  but I'm so glad she was able to make the right decision for her.  She's still planning on volleyball, basketball, track, maybe even field hockey...we will see how this all shakes out!

Golf season is here!  Let's go!
Carson and his friend Aiden made a joint poster to invite their girlfriends to CROM (prom for crew).

Me and the girls think Aubrey is the prettiest person we've ever met, especially her heart.  So happy she came into Carson's life.

Happy birthday to me! We celebrated early because Patrick was going to be out of town on my birthday and we had 2 soccer practices along with crew....not time for cake during the week!
Early morning on my birthday I was making lunches and I heard a familiar voice in the driveway and just knew it was Maren!  The brought early morning Chick-fil-a breakfast and totally MADE MY DAY!  I really went the whole day just thinking how lucky I am.

Preschool graduation for Maren...look out kindergarten, here comes Mare Bear!

Carson's boat made it to the Canada regatta in St. Catherines and Patrick and I both got to go this year!  My parents took the girls for the weekend which included 4 soccer games.  They help us so much.

Cole and Carson's double made it to finals!  There were only 3 boats on their team that made it to finals so they were SO EXCITED!  They came in the top 6 out of 17 boats to make it to Sunday.  So impressive and exciting!

The team had some down time on Saturday afternoon so some parents volunteered to take groups of them to visit Niagra Falls.

St. Catherine's was just beautiful.  It was really nice to get to hang out with all the other crew families and help out supporting the team.  Couldn't have done it without Grandma and Grandpa!

Last day of school!  We made it!  Gosh those last few weeks before school ends just FLY.

I'm always so excited for summer but so sad to see another school year fly by.   These babies are getting way too big!
