Merry Christmas! We had the best white Christmas in our new home with our families. One of my favorite memories was when Carson took Laney up to the children's talk during the Christmas Eve Service all by himself. He put up his hand to me and said, "Mommy I can take her by myself I can do it." She followed him, holding his hand, and sat right next to him in front of a very large congregation for the whole thing. I sat to the side ready to run and chase after Laney before she knocked down the advent wreath...but instead I got to sit and watch the two of them sitting side by side smiling and listening to the pastor talk about God's greatest gift. That was my favorite moment of Christmas...when my kids were perfect angels...which lasted about 4 minutes...by the time we got back to our seats it was whining and restlessness as usual :-)
New bathrobe! She loves to wear it around the house.
Carson got a shaving kit for Christmas and we are on day 6 of him shaving at least twice a day. He's got it down.
Putting the last decoration on the Advent tree...the star! Carson has been tracking how many days are left until Christmas every day during December.
Fort making with Grandpa!
This is the first fort that Carson made all on his own...pretty cool!
We got to welcome my parents to Grand Rapids right after Christmas! Carson only asks if we can go over and stop by every 10 minutes or so :-)
Carson and Grandma made a snowman in record breaking time during our Christmas at the Brang's! Laney is the supervisor in the back.
