Carson and Laney had their singing debut at church a couple weeks before Christmas. The Sunday School kids sang "Joy to the World" for two services. Laney is not in Sunday School yet, but she went right up there with Carson and sang her heart out!
He always has his hands in his pockets :-) This is exactly how he stood during his preschool concert the year before. I love it.
The Snowman Game I made for Carson's class Holiday Party! Thank goodness Grandma was able to help me run his class party AGAIN...whew!
Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa Brang's! Laney LOVES to "help" others open their own presents.
Uncle Blake taught Carson how to drive his new remote control monster truck...Carson just LOVES Uncle Blake!
Laney was still coughing from her pneumonia so we kept her away from Eliana, but we snuck Carson into the other room so he could have a chance to hold her when she wasn't looking. There was one point when Carson was opening presents and Aunt Beth looked up at Grandpa Brang and said, "Ok who wants to hold her?". As Grandpa Brang gladly went to take her, Carson jumped up in an instant and said, "Ok sure I will!". I've never seen him react so fast!

I should have waited to put Laney's Christmas Eve dress on AFTER the cooking was over. She was a MESS by the time we got to church! She is quite the helper, and an expert taste tester!
Carson started feeling sick on Christmas Eve so I wasn't able to get a smile from him, but he still had a good time :-)
Laney just can't keep her hands off soon to be Uncle Adam!
New game for Christmas!
Christmas morning Carson got up extra early at 6am (to be expected) but Laney slept in until 7:20am. She had no idea what was waiting for her! Poor Carson had to sit and wait for her to wake up to unwrap what Santa had delivered. He did get a sneak peek though because Santa missed a corner when he was wrapping his new electric scooter!

Christmas day we had Aunt Sarah and Uncle Blake, Grandma and Grandpa Brang, Auntie and Uncle Adam, and Grandma and Grandpa come over to eat dinner with us! Carson and Laney just don't even realize how lucky they are!
Watching "Home Alone" for the 4th time all comfy on Uncle Blake's lap...he just loves the end when the robbers fall into all those traps!

Patrick says Carson looks like Kevin James in "Paul Blart Mall Cop" when he rides his scooter. The day after Christmas we took a long walk down the Grand River Trail. Carson just keeps talking about how he can't believe there is no snow! Shhhhh...don't talk about it!
