Oh these winter days....lots of dress up...
sledding... (Go Grandpa Go!)
puzzles, puzzles, and more puzzles...
playing with play-do... (A LOT)...
(yep, those are play do fingers)
and just being silly!
We finished up watching our buddy Bennett but we get to see her all the time still! One of Laney's fav's! Carson made this pyramid out of poker chips one morning. We honestly couldn't believe he had the patience to do it.
Carson took this photo from our room. He said that Lexi made a Michigan State "S" in the snow just for Dad.
Patrick's having a heart attack about it...but, Carson loves snowboarding! Patrick is still starring into his wallet in denial about how much it costs. Actually, we are currently looking for sponsors! Carson got to take a free snowboarding lesson through his school. They actually teach the k-2 students how to snowboard in P.E. class all through December before they are offered the lesson. I had a feeling Carson was going to love it. He could play out in the snow all day and night and never come inside on his own. He's been needing a winter sport. Auntie was going to be in town the day he had his lesson so I asked her if she would take him out snowboarding afterwards. There is a video below. Auntie says that he is a natural! He was fearless, even starting off on the chairlift and big hill his first time down, and he persevered through falling and trying to steer. The kid had the absolute best time. He just keeps asking when he can go snow boarding again. When are you coming back, Auntie?
Happy 1st birthday to our nieghbor Ben! Laney helped him open every gift and just could not understand why he wasn't just ripping them right open! She thinks he's a little crazy! We are lucky to have friends who are like family.
