These are different days people...every day...you think someone has Disney fever?! She's ready!
Enjoying the weather every other day when it's nice...and then cold and rainy...and then warm and sunny, and then snowy....ahhhh! Carson can't even finish his snowboarding lessons this season! No snow!
Carson, Gray, and Elliott.
Her new favorite thing to do is to knock down YOUR tower. Carson and Laney loved the same thing with the same blocks...brings back great memories :-)
Evie LOVES walking around using her walker. She started a couple weeks ago and just thinks she's the bees knees when she's walking around. She'll use anything, Laney's baby stroller, the wagon, a big ball...she loves to walk! I watched her take two steps on her own yesterday. She surprised herself as much as she did me! She climbs up all the stairs to the top. She waits on the second or third step and makes noise until she sees you notice her and then she takes off with the biggest grin. When Carson or Laney try to pick her up or move her away from something she's not supposed to be by she screams bloody murder, it's like she's already tattling on them left and right. She brings me books and gets right up in my lap and growls until I stop what I'm doing and read to her. She has also figured out how to do this fake laugh, all the time...it's so forced and so hysterical. I have a video of some of it. She has 4 teeth, 2 on the bottom and 2 on the top, and the 2 on the top are not her front teeth, so she has the cutest fangs you could ever imagine. She's changing SO MUCH. Her face looks different all of a sudden, she's always moving, she wants to keep up with her brother and sister and tries so hard, she's eating baby food and everything we eat too, she's starting the stage where you have to use one arm to pin her down while changing her diaper...she's growing up and as much as I love it I don't like it one bit! She even hides when she has to go number 2. Already? Seriously? Slow down my love bug!
All the dressing up you just don't even know!
Carson was just in his second grade musical "Wackadoo Zoo". His class were lions. Every kid had a speaking or singing part and all the dancing and singing was AMAZING! He was SO excited for his big debut and really happy that he got to perform in front of the entire school as well. These elementary school days are just too fun! And you Carson, you can just slow down with this growing up stuff too!
Carson and his favorite, Mrs. La Reau.
Carson is in the center with the green MSU hate on with yellow ears.
Post performance ice cream stop!
Evie loved the musical too! Way to go Carson!
Laney made a crown for Queen Everson at preschool!
Our kids babysitter, Sophie, was in "The Lion King" at stage GR downtown last weekend. Carson really wanted to go see her perform so I got to have a special date with my little man! He really wanted Grandma and Grandpa to take him but they weren't available so he got me instead. He didn't want to smile for our selfie but I took it anyway, he's really fighting back a big grin because he was loving all of it. He was totally into the play and especially getting to see all the costumes and make-up up close afterwards. He's really interested in musicals, plays, and music in general.
Chilling with Grandpa before dinner.
