Three Lucky Leprechauns

No power at school = day of fun with Grandpa!

Carson has his own office set up in the basement at my parents house. Put this kid to work!

Laney went to a real, "official" gymnastics class with her buddy Kate so she had to wear her leotard...she'd wear that thing every day if I'd let her!

Movie night! We love Moana!! There is no point in the day when one of the Moana soundtrack songs is not stuck in my head, not one moment.

All she wants to do is get into the big kids toys.

Carson went out looking at basketball hoops with Patrick one night so I took the girls and Kate to rock climb! Fun Friday night!

Luke and Ellie send Carson and Laney each Disney mail! They got stickers and posters and lots of good advice for our big trip! Thanks friends!

Laney has been leaving carrots out for the deer and I think they enjoy her special treats.

Evie LOVES walking the stairs. You can't keep her away right now. She goes about 5 steps up and then makes noise until someone comes to walk up behind her. She does not like it if you just ignore her like I was doing in this pic! She's fallen a few times so she knows what's probably coming unless she can get some help.

This year Carson's school Art Show featured a voluntary Poetry Jam and Carson was 1 of about 20 kids who signed up to read a poem they wrote! We were so excited that he wanted to actually do this! His teacher said he had been working really hard on his poem. He wrote an acrostic poem so it used the letters in his name to begin each line. There's a video of him reading, although he cut off the end because he said he couldn't read what he has written. It was still fantastic! Evie liked sitting and listening to the kiddos perform.

Reading her favorite book with Daddy, and Great Grandma Brang is the one that gave it to us when we had Carson almost 8 years ago. It has been a favorite for all 3 kids and it's nice to have a little note from her in it.

Yep, that leprechaun came by again this year...and this time Laney made a special trap for him with candy inside to lure him in! Well, he took that candy and still managed to escape, but, left behind some chocolate coins in exchange.
