Everson LOVED the ocean! She thought it was so funny how it would go away and then come back and try to splash her feet. The ocean is so entrancing the kids don't need a single toy or any direction from us they are all just mesmerized by it and have so much fun with the waves.
Carson got some boogie boarding in and even got Patrick go out and try it himself.
All snuggled up together and tired out from a long day of playing in the water.
Our days are pretty simple: breakfast, pool, lunch, beach, dinner, pool. Best. Vacation. Ever.
One day I took Evie back to the condo for lunch while the big kids ate at the pool. I thought she could use a rest. I turned on "Boss Baby" (her favorite) and made her a quick lunch. When I walked out to take her outside on the patio to eat this is how I found her. It's probably my favorite pic from the whole week. Maxin and Relaxin at it's finest.
Always on the hunt for those little lizards!
Every single day was beautiful. Warm and sunny with a breeze.
Mermaid Laney.
I ventured out with Carson and Laney one afternoon while Evie was napping. We rented a couple kayaks and went around the inlets looking for manatee and dolphins. We found a dolphin friend right away. (Vacation MADE!) He came up a few times about 10 feet from our kayak right in front of Laney's face, and yet she didn't ever see it. Carson did though. There are apparently 15 manatee that live in this little lagoon but we didn't spot one. I definitely want to do it again someday, preferably in the morning instead of in the heat of the afternoon. It made Laney a little cranky.
At high tide the water formed this little stream that ran right down the beach. The kids LOVED it. Carson would just float all the way down on his boogie board and Evie just kept plopping down and sitting in it and then running away.
There's no sitting still with this one. She was all about jumping into that pool!
We had the best time in Palm Coast. We feel so lucky to get to spend time there. Thank you Aunt Sarah and Uncle Mike!
On our way home we always stop and spend the day in Charlotte with our buddies Megan, Ricky, and Cali. We get all the feels driving through our old stomping ground. Lots of love for that city and these friends! On our way home we had to make just one last stop....Cookout Milkshakes! Until next time Charlotte!
So glad all 5 of you could enjoy our condo! It always brings me joy to see family using it.
