We started off at our favorite, Pizza House, for lunch and dessert.
Then from there it was tailgating for the rest of the afternoon. We met up with Kevin and Kayla and the rest of their family. It was PERFECT weather and everyone had so much fun just being outside and soaking up the excitement!
Laney did that sign for the students to see on their way to class.
Dance party!
There are still signs of those tattoos on the girls cheeks over a week later!
Grill Master.
Laney wanted to tie her shirt up to show her belly like the cheerleaders. Oh boy. What a fun day. The Spartans came out with a win and the kids demanded to stay until the very end of the game. They LOVED it all. We left with about 3 minutes remaining just to get ahead of the crowds. Got home around midnight and slid those happy, tired kids into bed. That was the kids third year going to the home opener, including Evie! I think we will have to keep that tradition going because it has become one of our favorite days of the year. Go green!
The next morning we got up and jumped in the car to head to Uncle Tom's and Aunt Dawn's for the day!
We got to meet the newest addition to the family, baby Audrey. Oh is she just the cutest?!
We love getting to see Great Grandma and Grandpa Schultz whenever we get the chance! The kids had just asked that same week when we could go visit them again, so it was a nice surprise to see them at Uncle Tom's.
Day 2 on no nap...the struggle is real.
The same day we went to Uncle Tom's we actually slipped over to the Goring's house for some boat time and fireworks! I told you we couldn't have packed any more fun into that weekend!
She wanted to be a manikin in the window.
Laney's new soccer team met up for an ice cream social after school one day.
Last Thursday Evie started preschool at Canterbury Creek Farm School. It's the cutest little school in a fancy barn on a real farm right by our house. She was excited to go, but decided she'd rather go home with me when it was drop off time. They practically had to pry her off me. Fun times. About an hour later the teachers texted me this photo and said she was all smiles. I don't know though, by the looks of her face in the pic I'd say she was still pretty pissed. 😂
Evie's favorite thing lately, playing Crazy 8's with Grandma!
Charlotte loves to take naps in our shower, but she doesn't like baths. Kinda weird. One day, Patrick went to start the shower for one of the kids and he didn't see the dog in there. She flipped out slipped all over as she was panicking and trying to get out. Patrick about had a heart attack. It was pretty funny.
Laney's first travel game with her new team! They were so cute, such good teammates, Laney rocked it out as goalie, and they won!
And lastly, Carson had his first baseball game with Daddy and Uncle Adam coaching. It was a tough match but it was so fun to watch. Patrick is enjoying coaching way more than either of us expected. I think that's all he thinks about nowadays. Could Carson get any cute in his baseball getup, seriously though?!
