4th of July parade in Ada! We stay home every year for this, so much fun!
Somehow all our neighbors ended up in our driveway unplanned and they put on quite the fireworks show for us. Then, we all watched the Amway fireworks show from the front yard. It's the longest day ever. It's also one of the best days, every time.
Boulder Ridge with Grandma, Grandpa, Auntie, Maeve, Maren, and Peri! Laney was super pumped about the birds. Even wore her bird shirt :-)That monkey was totally loving watching Evie show him her dance moves.
Palm Coast 2022! So this is how it went: 1 week of Camp Henry, next day 7/3 Traverse City, next day 7/4 Fourth of July festivities all day and night, next day 7/5 Boulder Ridge Zoo, then 1 day "off", 7/7 off to Palm Coast! When I say we really haven't stopped, we really haven't stopped! This year our friends the Gregors met up with us at Aunt Sarah and Uncle Mike's place for a couple of days. It was fun to share our favorite place with friends!
Trying out some alligator tail. She really will try ANYTHING. Said it tasted like chicken!
Carson somehow spotted a live sand dollar about 5 feet deep underwater in the ocean. How he spotted that in the sand I just don't understand! Don't worry, he put it back after the pic. There was one day that Carson stayed out in the ocean just swimming around for over 2 hours straight. He loves it.
What a fun, relaxing time. We love Florida in the summer thanks to Aunt Sarah and Uncle Mike. They have gifted us so many amazing family memories. I miss it already, I could go sit on that beach every single day.
Last day surprise! We had a late flight out of Orlando the day we were leaving so spur of the moment (literally the night before) we decided to leave the condo early and spend the day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon! The kids were so excited. Patrick talks about all the fun he had with Aunt Beth at Typhoon Lagoon when he was about Carson's age ALL THE TIME. Seriously, all the time. So around every corner of this place it was "Oh I remember when Beth and I did this." and "I remember when this happened to Beth and we laughed and laughed..."...he was the most excited to go and experience this place again for sure. Evie did awesome going on all the tube rides and slides all by herself! It started raining just as we were heading out. We still had time to go out to dinner near the airport and talk about how much fun we all had on this trip. Thank you so much Aunt Sarah and Uncle Mike!
And don't worry, we aren't about to stop now! We have 2 days at home and then we are off to Boyne City with the Brang side of the family...and WE CAN'T WAIT!!
