Summer is flying by, FLYING! We are go, go, go and I think that makes it go even faster. Slow down summer! Patrick took Carson golfing (9 holes) one night so I took the girls to the 3 hole course to play.
Gotta get some ice cream after all that golfing!
Evie wrote her teacher a letter and she quickly got a card back from Mrs. Fowler! Man did that make this girl's day.

The kids jumped right into the pool fully clothed at our friend Madison's Open House! We said no at first but watching them have so much fun was worth the wet ride home.
Crew Camp 2022! Carson actually went two weeks in a row.

Our friend Alivia babysat Evie for a couple of hours while the big kids were at their camps. It was her first time babysitting and Evie was so excited to have her buddy all to herself!
Our back porch is finally complete! Come on over! We are on it 24/7.
Carson and his friend Carson Gregor joined up as a pair in a junior golf league on Monday's. Seems like such a grown up thing to do!
Dropped off Carson and Laney at Camp Henry for the week and had to stop at a brewery in town before heading back to Evie. It's our kids favorite week of the year!
While the big kids were away at camp, Evie got to sleepover at Grandma and Grandpa Brang's house for 2 nights with Eliana and Addie! She was so excited to get to do something special and she had the best time. Her favorite part was playing fusbol. What a great experience for Evie.
The day after the kids got back from camp we took a day trip up to visit our favorites, the Morin Family and Mr. and Mrs. Cooley at their beautiful Traverse City home! All the kids got to jet ski. These kids go all year without seeing each other but as soon as they do, they just go right back to where they left off. Carson says they are basically their cousins. I love it!
Highlight of the trip, walking to the beach to watch the Blue Angels! I don't know if my kids realize how amazing and special it was to get to see that. I loved every minute of it. Reminded me of going to watch the military jets take off and land at the base with my Dad when I was little.
Were we all tired? Yes. Was it a push to pack the kids up and head up north after their long week at camp? Yes. Was it worth it? 100%! Quite possibly the most fun day of the summer. We are busy but gosh we are having so much fun and we feel so lucky! Give me a day with the Morin's ANYTIME...I'll take it!
