Violin, Volleyball, Soccer, and Basketball... Oh My!

Orchestra concert night!

Evie's teacher, Mrs. Morin, surprised her and came to watch her play her final basketball game.  Evie was BEAMING with joy.  What a special teacher!

Aunie, Uncle Adam, Maeve, Maren, Peri and Grandpa also showed up!  It was quite a crowd for that last game and Evie really rose to the occasion.  I don't remember how many baskets she scored but she was played so confident and was so much energy and aggressiveness.  So fun to watch and she is so lucky to have so many cheerleaders!

After Evie's game our cheerleading squad rallied at Laney's last basketball game as well!

Evie learned how to tie her shoes!  She is one determined kid.
We had so much fun cheering on MSU during March Madness!
Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Laney had her first indoor soccer tournament at Grand Valley State University.

Go Green!

Hamsika brought Evie a special birthday gift before she left early on her Spring Break trip.  So sweet.
Evie and Laney celebrated their birthday's with all their cousins before we left for Spring Break.  Chuck E. Cheese for the win!

The morning after the big celebration, Nicky and Ollie decided to join us for church!
The kids are playing SO much basketball in the driveway lately...like hours a day.  We have to drag them in at night.  We've had this hoop for years and I don't know what's changed but they are all 3 obsessed.
Happy 7th birthday Evie!  Donuts in bed, won the Ranger Ready Ticket drawing at school and got treated like a queen, brownies and gifts at night, then off to bed for an early wake-up call to get to the airport!

Shoutout to Laney Kay...Book Bowl Captain for her class!  She earned that spot by reading 12 books in about 6 weeks and passing all the comprehension quizzes.  She was 1 of 2 kids in her class to complete the challenge.  Carson held this honor as well, which was a big motivator for her.  She can be so determined when she puts her mind to something!  We are so happy to achieved your goal Laney!
