October was full! Last field hockey games, the end of volleyball, end of Fall soccer, end of Fall crew (Carson got cleared to row again, the day after the season ended), 4th grade musical, orchestra concert, special visitors from Detroit, family birthday's, Run for the Hills, and a National Honors Society induction ceremony. Not to mention Halloween!
Not Halloween, these guys after their Fall Orchestra Concert.
While Carson drove down to Cincinnati for the Bengals game with Auntie, Grandpa, and Maeve...Evie had a nice little cheer section for her soccer game here at home!
Here's an action shot of Carson as the Coxwain for the Novice Men's 4+. He really rocked that job and made the most of not being allowed to row. And his shoulder is almost completely healed.
So many birthday parties!
Meijer Garden pumpkin time!
The haunted forest and corn maze! Laney enjoys this with her friends every year. This year, Carson got his FIRST job as a scary person in the woods at the Haunted Forest! Take it from me it was scary. He did an awesome job.
I took girls to a Maddox Batson concert, on a school night...but it was really fun for them and fun for me to see them so excited.
Last volleyball game for Laney!
Carson was not able to row on the erg machine for his teams Row-a-thon so he rode a stationary bike instead. I think he thought it would be easy...not so much. I love how his teammate Cole supported him.
We got a surprise visit from Ellie! She was in town for a soccer game and stopped in to spend the afternoon with Laney. These two don't see each other often but you'd never know it.
Happy birthday to Grandma and Grandpa!
Field hockey season was awesome. We are so glad Laney decided to give it a try. She was stretched thin between volleyball and field hockey but she loved every minute.
It's rare to get Carson out to one of the girls games...had to snap pic proof. The parents from Evie's team didn't even know we had a son.
Volleyball tournament ALL DAY LONG.
Hmmmmm...
Emotional support dogs, that's what the kids say is the reason they should get to sleep with them.
