Beach Babies and One Big Roadtrip

The four of us went to check out Grand Haven for the day recently.  We LOVED it and we will definitely be back again.  We can't get over how close these beautiful beaches are to where we live!

Grandma Brang and Laney worked on some letter identification one day...she's learning from Carson!
Here Laney put Daddy to "night night".  It's one of her favorite games and only he can play it with her.
Well we made it to Maryland!  We drove 12 1/2 hours to Uncle Jeff and Aunt Roxie's house and the kids were amazing.  We only stopped twice for just a few minutes to use the bathroom.  They are true road trippers! After 12 hours in the car Carson walked right in the door and said, "Let's go fishing Uncle Jeff!"...and off they went!

Mmmmm...crabs.  And of course Laney wanted to touch them and Carson kept his distance.  Thanks for holding on tight Austin because that girl didn't even have any shoes on!

We got to spend the weekend with Grandma, Grandpa, Nanna, Uncle Jeff, Aunt Roxie, Laura, Warren, Austin, Amanda, Dustin, Jackson, Aimee, Mark, Sarah, and Lindsey...whew!  It was a HOUSE FULL and it was just so much fun.  Thanks again Aunt Roxie and Uncle Jeff for hosting the party!  We did lots of kayaking, tubing, fishing, boating, swimming, and four wheeling.  The kids never stopped!

Laney and Jackson who she refers to as, "Baby".

These two look like twins if you compare baby pics!  Laney will be lucky to look as beautiful as Lindsey when she's a teenager!
Carson did some serious tubing with Uncle Jeff driving.  We were shocked he wanted to go so fast.  He loved it!

Aunt Roxie even got us a sneak behind the scenes peek at the otters getting fed at her work.  Pretty cool!

Carson dressed himself up like Gilligan at the museum...all on his own, and sat here forever pretending he was really on the water. He wants a boat so bad!
Cousins :-)  Always a blast when we get together!
Look at me Nanna!  Carson and Laney licked the brownie batter at Nanna's house...Carson said, "Nanna if you ever have any desserts you need cleaned up just call on Carson!".  Ha ha.
