Three more days of summer with my little man...before he enters the world of school! This is WAY harder on me than him...although I don't know that he will go willingly at all. Three more days! How did we get here? Now I'm starting to understand why my mom keeps telling me to just enjoy all this and to pay attention because they are only little for so long...it's going so fast!

Oh boy...we had our meet and greet with Carson's kindergarten teacher! We all LOVED her. Patrick took the day off so all four of us went to see the classroom, talk to his teacher, play on the playground, and go on a bus ride! After that we all got lunch and then Patrick took Carson go-carting for the first time. Carson said "It was a dream come true"....the go-carting not checking out his new school :-)
Carson told us all about the rules on the bus, he is such a rule follower wow. One of the rules he claims he learned at Safety Town Camp is that you have to hold your breath when the bus goes over railroad tracks. I argued it with him but he eventually won out. I hope his bus driver doesn't stop at the tracks for too long because my kid will be holding his breath tight! Laney was just ecstatic to get to ride the school bus with Carson. She sat so still by the window just talking about everything she saw. I guess it was her first time not in a car seat, which would be pretty exciting! Now she flips out every time we see a school bus.... "Me Ride Me Ride".
Laney went through our photo album of Aunt Beth and Uncle Nader's wedding the other day...page by page naming everyone in each photo. Next up, Aunt Sarah's wedding!
Max had his birthday a couple weeks after Carson so it was a month of celebrations for sure! See if you can find Carson and Laney in the foam pit :-)
Headband in my hair! For a few minutes until it fell out! Whoop whoop!
Last week we took Max with us to meet Grandma and Grandpa at Meijer Gardens. Never a dull moment, we love that place!
Sunglasses...really? I can't even stand it!
